BookPlay ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at bookplay.co.uk — a directory of soft play and children's activity centres across the UK. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
What data we collect
- Usage data — pages visited, search terms, and how you interact with the site, collected via Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) if you have given consent.
- Postcode — if you search by postcode, we store it in a cookie on your device to personalise your experience. We do not send this to our servers.
- Account data — if you create a venue owner account, we store your email address and a hashed password.
- Reviews — if you submit a review, we store the content and the date submitted.
- Contact messages — if you email us, we retain that correspondence.

Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Reviews are retained indefinitely unless you request removal. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard retention periods (up to 14 months).
